‘Terasite_interior’

Type: Residential interior
Area: 400 m2
Year: 2026
Client: Estebuild

The project presents an interior design solution for the two semi-detached houses in the Terasite_housing residential complex, designed by Anycolor and executed by Estebuild.

Each of the buildings consists of two independent residential units. The functional layout offers a spacious open-plan living area on the ground floor, three bedrooms on the second floor, a garage with storage spaces on the semi-basement level, and a roof terrace.

The interior concept for both houses is unified and aims at a harmonious combination of bold materials with a strong presence—exposed concrete, wood, stone, and metal. The ceilings in the upper levels of the houses are finished in exposed concrete with integrated lighting fixtures, while wood and stone are used as finishes and claddings for floors, walls, and furniture elements.

The treatment of the common areas and circulation spaces remains consistent and continuous across all floors. The three levels are visually connected through a unified flooring solution combined with an accent plinth made of textured porcelain stoneware. This material also defines the palette of the shared bathrooms and toilets.

In House 1, the functional zoning of the main living area is structured around a multifunctional furniture partition. The piece is fully upholstered: it serves as a bench on one side, a TV unit on the other, and incorporates a floor convector within. A long kitchen runs along the inner wall, with its storage elements concealed behind the overall wooden wall treatment. A key feature is the stone cladding of the backsplash and countertop, emphasized by a delicate metal structure of open shelves that replaces the traditional upper cabinets. The concrete ceiling is complemented by a custom-made suspended lighting fixture, 4 meters long, finished in brass sheet.

The ground floor of House 2 is conceived as a single open space, where different zones are defined by partitions. The kitchen is positioned at a distance from the wall, creating a discreet entrance vestibule to the toilet. At the center of the space, the island and dining area are connected, while the TV unit also functions as a railing toward the staircase leading to the lower level. The furniture around the TV is made of 4 mm thick sheet metal and conceals the floor convector on this level. The same sheet metal is used to construct the kitchen backsplash, combining solid and open elements. The green color of the kitchen is paired with the stone of the island and the cladding around the TV unit.

Each of the three bedrooms features an individual palette, combining wall colors with marble cladding. Although varied in tone, the spaces remain visually connected through the presence of exposed concrete and shared detailing in the furniture elements. The en-suite bathroom of the master bedroom is designed using the characteristic stone of the bedroom, enriched with decorative patterned tiles and metal elements suspended from the ceiling.
